Description

The municipality's health and care services include elderly care, home care, home healthcare–rehabilitation, and support for people with disabilities (LSS).

The operations are led by four unit managers who report directly to the head of health and care, which provides short decision-making paths and close cooperation between management and operations.

We are now looking for a manager support with overall responsibility for scheduling and staffing within health and care. The role involves qualified support to two unit managers in special housing and home care. The assignment is both operational and strategic and has great significance for the quality of operations, work environment, and economic sustainability.

In a smaller municipality like Ljusnarsberg, collaboration, a holistic perspective, and accountability are crucial. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations and contribute to creating structure, stability, and long-term planning in staffing.

The Assignment

As a manager support, you have a central role in the work of creating sustainable and well-functioning work time structures. You work closely with two unit managers and provide support in both daily staffing work and long-term planning.

Your assignment includes:

  • Planning, coordinating, and ensuring quality in scheduling based on the needs of the operations, applicable legislation, and collective agreements
  • Ensuring staffing during short- and long-term absences through active recruitment of substitutes
  • Monitoring and analyzing staffing outcomes in relation to budget and operational goals
  • Being a support to managers in matters concerning work time models, resource allocation, and sustainable staffing
  • Contacting users and relatives regarding services
  • Working in the systems Visma and TimeCare and contributing to the development of routines related to the scheduling process

You are expected to understand how staffing affects both quality and economy and work with a conscious approach to costs, without having direct budget responsibility.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on administration, personnel and working life, economics, logistics, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent
  • Good administrative skills and experience working in digital systems
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in municipal operations, especially in health and care
  • Experience in scheduling and staffing within round-the-clock operations
  • Experience working in Visma and/or TimeCare
  • Knowledge of working time legislation and collective agreements in the municipal sector

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and has a good ability to see the whole in complex staffing issues.

Conditions

Interviews will be conducted continuously, and employment may occur before the application deadline.

The position is a fixed-term full-time employment with a start date according to agreement. The employment is time-limited with the possibility of extension. Employment conditions according to the applicable collective agreement. A driver's license (B) is desirable.
